RED BULL ROOKIES GET INTO TOP GEAR FOR SEPANG 1000KM

QUALIFYING DAY - 4^th June 2010

One more day to the eagerly anticipated endurance race!! After weeks & weeks of grueling training sessions, in the rain and under the blazing sun, the rookies officially & finally get to test their mettle and machine on track to clock in their best time for the race... Check out what went down during qualifying round as Puteri, Carmen, Liana & Mel got behind the wheels!!

First up was the Mentor, Puteri…

Puteri clocked in 2.46 for qualifying round. Great head start from Puteri!

While Puteri was out on the track, Carmen & Liana were goofing around trying not to think about the nerve-wrecking session.

Liana’s best time was 2.51. Not bad for a newbie! Go Liana!

Carmen clocked an amazing time of 2.42. She was the fastest female driver during qualifying round. Hip hip hooray!!!

Mel was the last to record her qualifying time…

Mel finished the lap with 2.53. Proud of our Bruneian!!

At the end of the day, their average best time was 2.48 which placed them at the 18^th spot out of 22 in class 1! Let’s hope for a better performance on RACE DAY! Good Luck Girls!!
