RED BULL PIT STOPS ALONG PLUS NORTH-SOUTH HIGHWAY THIS ‘BALIK KAMPUNG’ SEASON Stay Alert with Red Bull Energy Drink

KUALA LUMPUR, 16th SEPT 2009 – Red Bull Malaysia is collaborating with PLUS Expressway Berhad in conjunction with the Balik Kampung season by having “Red Bull Pit Stops” at selectedlay-bys along the nation’s busiest highway during peak days of this holiday season.

Red Bull Pit Stops will provide PLUS users a chance to obtain a boost of energy with complimentary Red Bull energy drinks to enhance their alertness whilst driving back to be with their loved ones.

Red Bull Malaysia is extending the road safety messages by collaborating with PLUS to reach the general public and hence increase road safety awareness, energise road users to maintain alertness and eventually decrease the number of road accidents during the holiday season.

Details of the Red Bull Pit Stops:

Dates: 17th & 18th Sept 2009 (Thursday & Friday)
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Locations: Simpang Pulai (North Bound), Senawang (South Bound)


Dates: 24th & 26th Sept 2009 (Thursday & Saturday)
Time: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Locations: Behrang (South Bound), Simpang Renggam (North Bound), Kg Bemban (North Bound)


Red Bull energy drink is the ideal functional drink for road-users as it is important to maintain a high level of alertness while driving. Red Bull energy drink improves concentration, revitalises the body and mind while stimulating mental and physical alertness.
